The reason hiking is in quotations is because we really didn't hike at all. First of all, this hike is a little intimidating. Second of all, we weren't there to hike, we were there to take photos of my brother and his beautiful girlfriend Adrianna. Everybody else came along for the ride! The kids love exploring. They love being outdoors, and getting to touch different rocks, and look at cacti. I love seeing my children be so excited to explore. Fitz was really loving sifting the dirt through his fingers. Anderson was a little moody because she took a nap on our way there, but eventually she started to warm up. She's a daddy's girl and none of us are complaining about that! Fitz got a tiny cactus in him, but we had Doctor Grandpa Greg there to save the day!
I love the beauty of the Superstition Mountains. I feel you can feel the power in the mountains when you stand there. I am just in awe at God's creations. I love shooting pictures. I don't get to do it often, when I do, it's usually of my kiddos. I was so excited to take Brad & Adrianna's photos. I am always trying to improve with my photography. I feel like I am not that great at posing. I am getting better at it though, slowly but surely. I love how the photos turned out though. My favorite photos I take are always of happy, smiling people. I think you can completely feel that persons happiness when you see a photo of somebody genuinely happy. Adrianna has one of those smiles. Where she embodies happy, the feeling of being free, and you can just feel it in your soul from looking at her. It helps that she's also drop-dead gorgeous. My brother is a lucky man! I am so thankful for them two, and for their love for my kiddos. I am sure you other moms and dads understand, when you have people around you that adore your kids as much as you do, your heart is full.
