Back in January, we celebrated Anderson turning 3 years old! At the end of February, we celebrated Fitz turning 18 months! I wanted to take their photos together, and the next month I got to have the wonderfully talented Cami Parker Photography capture these two cuties in their natural element. This is extra special to me, because we shot these in the flip house that we finished remodeling. It has the best big window that lets in tons of natural lighting, needless to say, I am obsessed with these photos.
I have found the trick to photographing or having photoshoots with your kids. Let them be little. Let them be them. The photos turn out 100x better when you just let them do their thing and capture them being who they are. I have also learned that even though the photoshoot at times can feel like it isn't going well, you get photos like these. Fitz was super fussy and whining, but he laughed at all the right times and Cami captured them all. Fitz's big smiling grin and Anderson's dance moves are the definition of "heart bursting".
Just like all the photos I take, or get taken of the kids: I will always hold these photos so dear in my heart.
