Reading with Grandpa Anderson

Please tell me you all have this feeling too!!! When you see something your kids are doing that absolutely melts your heart and you are able to capture it on camera and you realize it's going to be photos you cherish forever and ever? These are that! The only I regret is that she doesn't have clothes on but candid isn't always perfect! I had to post them anyways though because they are just so sweet and calm feeling.

Grandpa Dave is one of the namesakes for Anderson. She was named after my grandma and grandpa with their last name being Anderson. My grandparents mean the world to me. They are some of my closest friends and I try to call them almost every day to chat and keep them informed in what is going on in our lives! I also try to convince them to move to Arizona almost every day. I have a plan to eventually get them to move here! I am calling 2018, "The year everybody moves back to AZ!". I will always love them more! [I had to do that Grandpa, I win!].

Anderson was also named after the street where we grew up. I only lived there till I was three, but it has such a special place in my heart. My grandpa bought 46 acres in Cle Elum, Washington [if you haven't been there, you must go! Such a fun small town!] that the Anderson family lived on. The first house was my Uncle Dennis and Aunt Lisa. The second house on the street was my families. The third house was Aunt Darlene and Uncle Bill, then Aunt Davie, and my Uncle Greg. Then Grandma & Grandpa, and lastly but certainly not least, was my Great Grandpa and Great Grandma! The street was called Anderson Lane. Hence, Anderson Layne Augustyniak! All my cousins would agree, that that street made such a special bond between all of us. We are much more like siblings, than cousins. It's hard being away from them all. Sometimes I do wish we still all lived together, but if we didn't move when I was three, I never would of met my husband at three when we moved to Arizona! God has a plan, and there is definitely a reason for everything in life!

A few years ago one of the houses were for sale on that street and I wanted it so bad. It was sold, and I was so bummed. A life goal of mine is to own a house on that street again at some point in my life. Taking my husband back there and showing him what it looks like solidifies the special feeling my cousins and I have. I know my husband walks on Anderson Lane and feels the love. That street was made from a loving family, and the peace that is on that street is indescribable. It makes me feel more at home than ever, and I don't have a home there anymore. It is such  a special place to me! I have posted a video of our trip below when we went back in May. It's a amateur video obviously but wanted it to see the light of day! Eat your heart out though with these precious photos of Anderson and her Great Grandpa Anderson and the video of our Washington trip!

Last but certainly not least, HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANDPA DAVE! You turned 80 today and I am so happy to call you my grandpa. Thank you for loving my grandma, for starting our beautiful family and having such a great heart and a wonderful sense of humor. I love you so much more!!!!!!!!
